Trident did it again! On October 30th, the Public
Relations Society of America (PRSA) Los Angeles Chapter awarded Trident
with a PRism Award for its external corporate website
(www.tds.com). The "Website" category was created this year. Last
year, Trident won a Merit Award in the category of Internal Newsletter.
"Trident's website was recognized for using creativity and technology to effectively communicate with a target audience," said Rachel Moreno of corporate communications, who was involved in preparing and submitting the entry. The entry included a summary of our public relations objectives, strategies, tactics/implementation, target audience, resources/budget, results and measurement techniques and hard copies of web pages in a binder for presentation to the judges. Other participants in this win include: Roman Alemania of corporate commercial operations, the site's art director; Todd P. Allaria, MIS Director, for technical design; Margaret Huang of corporate communications for writing and editing the website content; and Luis Saenz of MIS for production of the entry. This team attended the award ceremony held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, where they received the PRism prize. The competition was open to all public relations practitioners, PRSA members, and non-members who work in the greater Los Angeles area. Over 100 entries were submitted and were judged by PR professionals from the Atlanta PRSA chapter. Appropriately, the theme of the competition reflected the spirit of the Olympic games. | |
